My name is Alessandra Oram, I started yoga 12 years ago and  I have 8 years of experience behind me as a teacher. I have taught thousands of students online and in person worldwide.

I have seen many students struggle to improve the DRAG to the top of the mat and many don't even attempt it, often staying within their COMFORT ZONES of walking or jumping forward. Common obstacles are:

  • They find it painful by not engaging the correct muscles.
  • They are scared with that feeling of going upside down and don't shift their hips forward enough.
  • Not knowing how to gain good flexibility in the legs. Without a good fold this transition can feel heavy on the body. 

There is a moment in your practice where you change from walking to the top to jumping to the top. But I want to help you change that JUMP into an effortless DRAG and FLOAT. This is a unique skill. Once you have this mastered, the DAY to DAY vinyāsa classes become so much more powerful.
